#ThrowbackThursday: On February 20, 2003, CFI launched the book titled “A Leper* Colony’s 100-Year Journey Towards Healing” at the Manila Polo Club.

Published by Culion Foundation, Inc. and Fundacion ANESVAD, this book tells the story of the historic island of Culion as the biggest leprosarium for around 100 years. The island was where all kinds of treatment for leprosy were tested until finally in the decade of the 1980s, the cure was found.
