Culion Foundation, Inc. was inducted as a new member of the Child and Adolescent TB (CAT) Section of the Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT) on May 23, 2024.
The induction ceremony was held during the CAT Section Regular Meeting with Dr. George Ray Maravillosa, CAT Section Chair, as the inducting officer. CFI was represented by Mr. Eugenio M. Caccam, CFI Executive Director, Dr. Maria Angela Villa, and Dr. John Jefferson V. Besa, CFI Senior Program Managers for Health, Ms. Jourdane ArchesโTalaue, ACF Program Manager, and Mr. Ralph Cepeda, Assistant Manager for Technical Support/Executive Assistant.
CFIโs membership in the CAT section aligns with its goal to contribute to TB elimination in the country.
