𝗖𝗙𝗜 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
As a continuation of the Management Training Series, CFI’s Trustee, Ms. Yolanda “Yoly” V. Ong, delivered a lecture on “Coaching and Positive Reinforcement.” She emphasized the dynamic qualities of effective leadership, noting that “while IQ and technical skills are important, EQ is the essential component of leadership”. Ms. Ong highlighted coaching as a developmental approach that utilizes positive reinforcement—a powerful tool for fostering growth. She explained how coaching operates on principles that reinforce desired behaviors, increasing the likelihood of their recurrence, and how it shapes performance across various domains, from sports to professional endeavors.
