CFI earns recognition at Cavite’s Lung Month Celebration
Cavite, Philippines – The Culion Foundation, Inc. (CFI) received special recognition for its vital role in enhancing tuberculosis (TB) case finding effort in Cavite during the province’s Lung Month Celebration. The event, held on August 29th at The Bayleaf Cavite in General Trias City, was organized by the Center for Health Development-4A (CHD-4A), Cavite Provincial Health Office (PHO), and the Cavite Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO).
CFI’s active participation was acknowledged as a key factor in the province’s ongoing efforts to eliminate TB. The celebration highlighted the achievements of local government units (LGUs) from various cities within Cavite, alongside partner organizations, for their outstanding contributions to TB control and prevention in their respective communities.
The event was not only a platform for recognition but also a moment to reinforce the commitment of all stakeholders towards sustaining the gains in TB elimination and continuing the fight to impact lives across Cavite, especially on improving uptake of TB preventive treatment.
