TB Active Case Finding Initiative hits Navotas’ Pescador Park
CFI successfully conducted the TB Active Case Finding (ACF) in Pescador Park, Navotas. Held last April 12, 2024, the activity screened 155 participants from high-risk populations at Pescador Park, Brgy. Bangkulasi, Navotas. Free chest x-rays and medical consultation were provided along with snacks.

The aim of the activity is to find missing TB cases in community settings by making screening accessible. This was done through the utilization of a mobile van that was able to set up within high traffic areas in communities.

This initiative was carried out by CFI as part of the TB Advancing Client-Centered Care and Expanding Sustainable Services for TB Global Fund through collaboration with the Department of Health, City of Navotas, Navotas NTP team and Bangkulasi Health Center.
