The CFI-convened Ugnisan Fisherfolk and Farmers’ Association (UFFA) participated in the Mangrove Rehabilitation Training for Community Leaders, conducted by Culion Foundation Inc. (CFI) and Baldat Fishermen and Farmers Association (BAFFA). The training aims to capacitate members of the UFFA in restoring mangrove ecosystems and enhancing awareness on the importance of biodiversity. Furthermore, UFFA as a Peopleโs Organization (PO) supported by CFI, will be engaged as a strategic partner of both CFI and BAFFA in its efforts to reforest and conserve mangrove areas in Sitio Ugnisan, Brgy. Luac, a critical ecosystem resource that sustains the communityโs survival.
