Following the TB in the Workplace workshop held in Crosswinds Resorts Suite, Tagaytay, Culion Foundation, Inc. (CFI) in partnership with the Region III team, also rolled out the initiative in Clark, Pampanga. The workshop was held in Widus Hotel and Casino, Clark, Pampanga on November 24-25, 2022 and participated by 20 cluster groups composed of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and groups from the informal sector.

The initiative allows informal and high-risk sectors to acknowledge TB as a public health concern that needs addressing and help in eliminating misconceptions, stigma, and discrimination against people with TB. This also capacitates the cluster groups in addressing tuberculosis in their workplaces through information dissemination, formation of a social and behavior change communication plan and through policy formulation.

The Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, Lusog Baga, Breathe Free PH, Philippine College of Occupational Medicine, and Evident served as resource speakers and partners to make this initiative possible.

By empowering cluster groups across regions, CFI strives to foster a culture of awareness and responsible action against TB by institutionalizing health policies within groups and organizations.
