Culion Foundation Inc. (CFI) successfully implemented the TB Active Case Finding (TB ACF) at Western Bicutan Health Center, Western Bicutan, Taguig last May 16, 2024. This activity provided free chest X-rays and medical consultations, screening 557 participants who are considered high-risk for TB.

This initiative is designed to identify undiagnosed tuberculosis (TB) cases within community settings by providing more accessible screening services. Utilizing a mobile van equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, CFI was able to set up screening stations in high-traffic areas, ensuring maximum reach and convenience for the community members.

The TB ACF project is part of the TB Advancing Client-Centered Care and Expanding Sustainable Services for TB Global Fund, carried out in collaboration with the Department of Health, the City of Taguig, Taguig/Bicutan LGUs, and the Western Bicutan Health Center.
